  This was an unexpectedly good dining experience!
  
  The interior is somewhat upscale with linen tablecloths though some of the back parts of the dining room are a bit haphazard and disheveled. The staff are generally very friendly. You receive crispy wontons as a complimentary snack, and soft drinks are refilled without charge.
  
  We tried the chicken lettuce wraps which were excellent! Far better than PF Chang's and much less salty. Our entree favorites are the Beef Broccoli and Moo Shu Pork. The beef in the broccoli beef is tender, the broccoli has a crisp crunch, and the sauce is mild and pleasant. The Moo Shu pork is excellent with a delicious mix of pork and vegetables that is excellent when folded into the pancakes with the accompanying sauce.
  
  Overall this place exceeded our expectations, and we will be back!

  I decided to try Chow Mein House out for my birthday dinner with my boyfriends parents. It's a new pop-up restaurant in Summerlin, towards Charleston and the 215.
  
  We ordered a lot of family style dishes such as
  
  The Beef Broccoli
  Sesame chicken
  Asparagus
  Hong Kong Style Chow Mein
  Fried Rice
  Egg Rolls/WonTons/Shrimp Tempura
  Egg Drop Soup
  
  All of the dishes were good with a lot of left overs to spare. We had a family of 5 there. It was relatively inexpensive as well. Flavor and texture is standard for most other quick, fast-food style Chinese food.
  
  The service was great! The waitress kept our waters filled and were brought hot tea immediately upon being seated at our table. I would come here again.

  Stopped in here for dinner after spending the afternoon exploring the nearby Red Rock Canyon.
  
  The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. We were seated upon entering. I liked the modern atmosphere and white linens on the tables.
  
  We ordered the appetizer platter (bbq pork, crab rangoon, pork potstickers, spring rolls and tempura shrimp. Everything was really good except the bbq pork...it had way too much sauce on it for my liking...personal preference I'm sure. For entrees we ordered the honey walnut prawns and pork sautéed in house hot hoisin sauce. Everything was delicious...especially the honey walnut prawns!
  
  This restaurant is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking available. I would highly recommend!

  Haven't found a better Chinese food place in Vegas and I've had a fair share of them up in the Summerlin area. The ambiance was pleasant, clean, friendly wait staff and the food just kept getting better through the courses. Stared with perfectly fried crab Rangoon then on the some stellar egg flower soup. I had the asparagus garlic chicken and I was blown away. The asparagus was crisp and fresh the carrots had a snap to them and the black bean sauce was a delight. My wife had the chicken fun chow and I had a hard time not eating off of her plate the entire meal. We will be coming back again. Looking very forward to it too.

  One day randomly the thought of eating MooShoo pork crossed my mind.  Thankfully Yelp came to the rescue and helped me find ChowMein House.  It offered this dish as an option and I decided to try it.  I did a couple take out orders and thought it tasted good.  I think it is actually worth taking the time to dine-in.  The ambiance is quite luxurious for a Chinese restaurant and they provide very efficient and attentive service.  Seating is limited but they do use cloth tablecloths and nice glassware for water.  Very rare that an Asian restaurant would provide unlimited refills on fountain drinks but here they do and they never let it go empty which is just splendid.  Long ago, similar restaurants would actually wrap the mooshoo for you using two spoons and serve each person at the table.  Here they provide the wrappers and the filling and plum sauce for you to do yourself which I am okay with especially since we have other options to get full on.  They provide complimentary fried wonton strips to snack on while you wait.  I thought the Mooshoo tastes similar to what I have had at other restaurants and much-much better than when P.F. Chang's tried their hand at the same dish with no luck and it didn't stay on their menu for long (obvious reasons).  Here it was just what I was craving and I'd go back for this dish alone.  Beef broccoli here is great as the broccoli stays crisp even the day after when you microwave it which I love.  Ironically, despite being called Chow Mein House we haven't tried their chow mein so that is on the 'to do' for our next visit.  Over time our tastes evolved and I am wanting fewer 'chain' restaurants and more locally owned family restaurants like this and this was right up our alley.
